Nitin Singh Bhadauria is an Indian Administrative Service officer of 2011 batch from Uttarakhand cadre and is currently serving as District Magistrate of Almora, Uttarakhand.
Born and brought up in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Nitin has completed his schooling from Seth Anadram Jaipuria School, Kanpur. It was followed by BE (Hons) in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from BITS Pilani and PGP from IIM, Bangalore. Prior to joining the IAS, he has worked as an Investment Banker in Mumbai.
Upon joining the Uttarakhand Cadre of IAS, he had been posted as Joint Relief Commissioner, Kedarnath during the Uttarkhand Floods of 2013. He has completed Joint Magistrate postings at Pauri, Roorkee, Dehradun and Mussoorie. He has also served us a Municipal Commissioner at Dehradun, Haridwar and Roorkee. He has also been posted as Chief Development Officer at Haridwar and Vice-Chairman of Haridwar- Roorkee Development Authority. As part of Uttarkhand Government, he has served as Additional Secretary in the departments of Urban Development, Higher Education, MSME, Vigilance and Good Governance as well as held positions of Director, Urban Development and Mission Director, National Health Mission.
